Each of us likes being surrounded by well-designed, modern objects of everyday use. For us, such an object is the New Testament!

In the first year when God really began to speak to me he began to confirm His word, and notes that I made during that time were everywhere, on my computer, on my phone, on the board, on the refrigerator. Everywhere. I noticed that the majority of people living with God also took notes. They have a need to save what God is doing in their lives.
I knew that there is a need for a modernly designed Bible. It should be legible so that you can give it to someone and share it with them.
JOURNAL OF THE NEW TESTAMENT
is a combination of a notebook form of a journal
with the text of the New Testament.
The Journal part is primarily a space for notes. Blank pages are alternated with nine personal stories of people of different ages, with different experiences, interests and lifestyles. Each of the testimonies is based on a passage from the New Testament or a Psalm. These stories speak not so much about the conversion of each person but about how the word of God is alive every day in their lives. They tell about God confirming His words. Additionally I put some passages from the New Testament into the Journal, such as Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus, or the hymn to love. These passages seemed to me crucial if one is to see a more complete picture of God.
The second part of the Journal is the New Covenant – a modernly designed book of the New Testament, written in the current language. Simple font adds transparency and the text broken into two columns is easy for reading. At this point I also took care of the possibility of taking notes – there is a blank space left on the outer edges of each page.
The prototype of the Journal was manually-made. Each portrait has been processed and pressed in lithography which is the traditional graphic technique. In this technique a drawing designed to be duplicated is performed on the lithographic limestone. Portraits pressed in this way have a unique character!

My name is Ola. I recently graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts with a Master's Degree. For several years I have been doing graphic arts by creating handmade books, paintings and installations. My works have been shown at exhibitions in Poland and abroad, u.a. in the National Museum in Szczecin, the Leon Wyczółkowski District Museum in Bydgoszcz, Kalisz District Museum, Polish Institute in Budapest, the Test Gallery in Warsaw.
In 2013 together with other artists I founded KISSPRINT the Association of Graphic Arts, and from 2015 I've been pleased to give classes at the Graphics Department of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. But this is only a part of my life excitement. In my works I'm talking about someone I met a few years ago - about incredible God!
